At the next Council meeting (February 21 at 7:00 pm) the City will have the honor of hosting the Military Order of the Purple Heart’s South Carolina State Commander, Richard Roszelle. At that meeting the Mayor and Council will be proclaiming the City of NMB as a Purple Heart City and will honor all military veterans, combat veterans, Gold Star families, Purple Heart recipients, and their families for the sacrifices that they have made in defending our freedom.
